A Kay five-string resonator banjo. Geared fifth-string tension peg on the neck side, hooked tension ring, armrest, and a clean, glossy resonator back. The lot includes everything found in its case: four period instruction books (E-Z Method for Banjo, Mel Bay's Fun with the Banjo, Smith's Chords for Banjo, and Harry Reser's folk-style method), a leather cradle strap, a vintage Black Diamond strings box, and a typed head-tensioning and fifth-peg care sheet that appears to have come with the banjo. Offered as-is from a private collection. Cardboard case included.
